Sound Imaging Inc. offers high-quality MRI service contracts and preventative maintenance at a low price with a fast turnaround. We provide full and limited MRI services, parts support, and preventative maintenance at a fraction of original equipment manufacturers’ price (OEM’s). So you can keep your MRI scanner up and running.

   Full MRI Service includes:

  • 24/7 remote phone MRI support (7 days a week)
  • MRI services (7 days a week, 8 am – 10 pm)
  • MRI parts support (7 days a week, 7 am – 6 pm)

Terms of MRI Parts support:

  • Better off OEM list price
  • Cryogen at the most competitive rates on the market
  • On-site or remote MRI installation
  • MRI repair support

Preventative MRI Maintenance:

  • Clean/check operation, workspace fans, intakes, monitor, and mouse.
  • Check and record cryogen levels.
  • Record compressor run time & pressure.
  • Record shield temperature & voltage.
  • Inspect LV gradient shim.
  • Perform head SNR.
  • Check and adjust RF power output.
  • Adjust gradient calibration.
  • Audit oxygen monitor operation.
  • Review trolley assembly, table drive clutch set.
  • Observe PDU indicator lamps & connections.
  • Check blower filter, chiller fluid level, and valve.
  • Rotational surface coil test.

Limited MRI Services from Sound Imaging include any custom MRI service agreement. We have found in the past that our customers want flexibility in their MRI service contract and for this reason we customize each service contract to suit individual facility needs.

We provide mobile MRI service, fixed MRI service, GE MRI Service, open MRI service, and closed MRI service, as well as GE mobile MRI service. If you are located in a different part of the US, we will send an MRI field service engineer to provide MRI service, including Saturdays and Sundays.
