The integrated
amp has a master volume control independent of the Sony receiver allowing the operator to
adjust the sound level separately from the operator's room Sony speakers. It
also allows the music to slowly fade away when the operator uses the microphone to speak
to the patient and slowly fades the music back to the original sound level when
done speaking. The cabling used for the magnet room area and the operator room
area is a shielded, 22-gauge high quality, stranded two pair wire cable with an
industrial grade black vinyl covering. The male and female sub-D 9 pin hooded
connectors and the speaker system connector are of non-ferrous material.
MRI Transducer System
Our patent pending Transducer System is a custom designed and built, magnetically inert RF shielded pneumatic speaker. Our unique system is compatible with all manufactured MRIs and field strengths. The design is much more efficient for better sound transmission than other patient sound systems and we guarantee the quality and operation of the speaker system for the life of the MRI system on which they are installed.
